Ancestors Never Die

Ancestors Never Die is an ongoing conceptual mixed media project that reimagines ancestral presence through photography, data, and alternative processes. Each artwork features a portrait of an imagined ancestor against photographs of the night sky with constellation-like visualisations based on real datasets of ancient African empires.

Each final image is hand-printed using the cyanotype process which rich Prussian blue, historically associated with royalty, becomes a tribute to ancestral legacy.
